The Indianapolis Zoo

During July 4th weekend we all traveled to Indianapolis for the big downtown fireworks show. We had a front-row seat in Grandpa Steve's office, so we took some snacks, went downtown, and enjoyed the show in our climate controlled room with comfy seats. Natalie absolutely loved the show, and she still talks about it. She even remembers the type of pretzels we were snacking on, and every time she eats them now she talks about the fireworks. I can't actually track down any pictures of the fireworks trip, but when I do they'll get posted on the website for July.

We also went to the zoo that weekend, and Natalie had a great time there as well. We also have dozens of pictures of that, so I'll share some of those here. It was a great weekend with fireworks, swimming, the zoo, and some fun times playing outside with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Emily and Jon!

Here's Natalie keeping an eye on the big Walrus to make sure he doesn't cause any trouble:

Here she is enjoying a refreshing penguin drink on a hot day at the zoo:

Here are some pictures of her getting up close and personal with one of her favorite animals... a giraffe!

And some shots of everyone hanging out with us at the zoo:

She even had fun on the ride home! Her new giraffe friend Eddie was giving her a hard time :-)
